40yrs and trying to conceive

Hello. Hubby and I have been trying off and on for yrs now. But now we have decided to really focus on conceiving.  All my ovulation test are saying negative but I'm having all the signs of ovulation.  I'm so confused.  Maybe I'm reading the ovulation test wrong. HELP anyone

    If it’s line ovulation tests you are using you can download an app called premom and upload all your tests there. It reads them for you and tells you when you get your peak, good luck xxx

    Thank you but I'm just using the cheap strips from CVS.
