  • Thank you @DanielleMFM 💜
  • Hello lovelies, any of you spoken to your doctor about your fetility? I have a call at lunch time. About my early bleeding and no peak on tests. Any advice or any thoughts about chatting to him? 🙂 X
  • @SorrentoMummy hiya luvvy. I'd write down any questions you have so you dont miss anything. Ask for a blood panel for your hormones and perhaps request a scan if possible?? You may aswell ask all you can 💜💜
  • Sorry I can't be much help @SorrentoMummy but really hope they find some answers for you..
  • @SorrentoMummy I’m no help but I hope u get answers xx
  • Thanks lovelies that's helpful, I just don't want them to tell me to wait a year. But hopefully today will be really positive in my TTC journey! Xx
  • @SorrentoMummy nah dont let them fob you off with that. Tell them you've been trying for longer if you think that's what theyll say 💜💜
  • @Bonnie1983 thanks lovely I'll keep you posted. 😘 X
  • @SorrentoMummy please do 🥰💜
  • @Bonnie1983 I thought the doctors wouldn't see you till its been over a year ? I've been talking about calling the doctors but from what I read I am unsure if they would do anything just yet for us, this is just from reading as I have no experience in this, sorry for the questions but if they see my last depo shot was in August 2019 so it ran out in November 2019 would they count it from then as I've been thinking they wouldn't as it took a while for my cycles to come back properly, every 28 days..and I am 36, partner 37 but we already have 1 child together, youngest who is 3, my 19 year old and 12 year old are from my previous partner. Should I just wait till say April or May time or would it be worth calling them, I don't want to be sounding silly or anything to them and waste time as I know I can conceive and wouldn't want to take a place of someone else that would need it more than me if you know what I mean.
Yes @SorrentoMummy its a positive step in your ttc journey 💝
  • @Gemma303 I think they will see you if you might have something wrong. I'm bleeding few days before my period then I stop. Xx
  • @Gemma303 hey my love. If you're over 35 and been trying for 6 months then the doctor should refer you. If under 35 they wont entertain you for a year :(.
As you have a child already they may be less concerned for you and hubby but if you're worried at all I'd insist. A gp can only refer you so getting the wheels in motion cant hurt ❤❤
  • @SorrentoMummy I just don't know as I have 3 boys but I know things can change with our bodies, but I just wouldn't want to take an appointment like, just say, I have an appointment so then they won't be able to get you in for instance, if that makes sense, if we was at the same doctors, as under priorities, you would need that more than me, but I just can't help but wonder that I am not ovulating. I have got some strips off ebay for testing for ovulation and I should see how I get on with them first really shouldn't I...really am hoping the doctors will shed some light on things and like bonnie said, ask for the whole lot so there's no stone unturned as they say, you're a step closer in your ttc journey by just making that phone call 🙂

Exactly!! The relief that you're taking steps will make you feel 100 times better.

Gemma perhaps ser how the strips go and see if theres a pattern going on 🤔🤔❤❤
  • Definitely can't hurt so thank you for making me feel better both of you 🙂 I will chat again to my partner and see if he is ready for that next step, its really nice we have the encouragement off each other to make that leap...thank you.
  • @Gemma303 absolutely my dear. Please keep us in the loop and also I hear that by taking practical steps with professionals that things can happen naturally due to the stress relief 🥰🥰❤❤
  • Yes ok i definitely will, thinking then maybe get a few months worth do you think and yes see if there's a pattern and then if its a no go at least I can present them as some sort of evidence at the doctors, if that's the right word !!
  • @Gemma303 yeah I think at least for your peace of mind for sure.
I will add that in my limited experience, when I saw an ivf specialist he wasnt that bothered about hearing about my ovulation test patterns,he said they can be counter productive😬  and certainly didnt ask if I did bbt. 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️😆😆. Some just want hard facts and figures from blood tests,
Scans and semen analysis tests. I preferee this approach personally but some people dont 💜💜
  • Hope everyone’s ok today. Cd5 and af is on its way out, just received a fresh new batch of opks so I’m gona start doing one every night from today and loading them into Premom so see if I can figure out what’s going on. I too don’t think I’ve been ovulating, I think I tried last cycle cuz I had severe o pain for a week or so. Hoping this months the one x
