can baby move again after engaging??

hi everyone. im 38weeks pregnant and my babys head has been engaged for about 2weeks now but last night my tummy completely changed shape and was very uncomfortable in my ribs again and it felt quite soft where his head was meant to be. it was rock hard before but feels as if hes not there anymore?! can this happen? i hope he hasnt moved coz i want him out!!!

My lo had been 1/5 engaged from 34 weeks but at 37 weeks she popped out for a couple of days!! It was my first too!

I had that too with my first, she was well engaged for last few weeks then shifted back upwards as i went into labour!!!

can baby move again after engaging??
