Mums to be in Manchester

I am due in Oct 07. Anyone else out there livinng local that is due around the same time??? This is our first baby and my our 20 wk scan said we were having a boy
I live in Blackley. We have just moved into the area from Salford, but I have opted to stay under Salford NHS and give birth at Hope Hospital. Has anyone had any experience of the maternity unit / Brith centre there??? I have been told many good stories about the unit....have heard lots of bad press about North Manchester General so was put off.
Anyway, if there are any local mums to be, it would be great to hear from you and hear about your experiences.
