mucus plug?????

hiya everyone i was just wondering if anyone else has lost their mucus plug and what it was like as i seem to be confused as the midwife at the antenatal classes said that it was like snot (hence the name mucus) but on some websites and books it says it is brownish pinkish colour and usually has streaks of blood in it.

    mine was a jelly blob of creamy, pinky blood streaky stuff, very nice, not, lol. xx

    I havent had a show but from reading posts on here for the last few months they can be green, pink, clear, brown or bloody! Ohh I can't wait lol
