  It's a form for going on maternity/paternity leave and you get it from ur midwife, at about 20 weeks.

  My employer was harrassing me for my MAT B1 form during my first pregnancy but it didn't seem to sink in that I didn't get it til later on. I dnt know why they were so desperate for it coz u cnt start ur maternity leave until week 29 at the earliest anyway. Its just a certificate that ur dr or mw signs to say you are actually pregnant and it gives the date that they expect the baby to be born on. Kerry xxxxxxxx
