Hi,

Can anyone let me know how long you had to stay in hospital. The thought of having to stay in is really scaring me.

    it all depends on your labour really, if its an easy trouble free labour & you have the baby early on proving all is ok you are sometimes able to come home the same day, i stayed in for 1 night after my daughter was born & to be honest it was a nice stay as it was my first, plus my birth wasnt straightforward but was still fine, i wouldnt worry too much, once you have your baby nothing else really matters

    I was in hospital for 48 hours after having my lo but this was due to having an emergency c-section. Some of the women on the ward only stayed in for 6 hours then they were allowed home.
