Drop side cot beds?
Now that lo is sitting up and getting too big for his crib, we are considering buying a drop side cot bed. The ones in Mothercare seem to be either very awkward or flimsy but probably because so many people have been fiddling with them trying to work out how they work.
I have my heart set on drop side rather than fixed sides because I'm not very tall (only 5 foot), lo is heavy baby, and we will be ttc again soon. If we're lucky I may have to pack a wriggly toddler to bed whilst heavily pregnant.
Does anyone have a drop side cot bed and are there any potential safety problems, like trapping little finger and toes? Thanks for any advice you can give.

I've noticed most cot beds have fixed sides. But Boots and Toys R Us do have dropped sides cot beds. See these two links for examples:-
