Heartbeat 160BPM - boy or girl?
I've heard that a high heartbeat rate indicates a baby girl. At my antenatal appointment this morning my little one's heartbeat was between 150-160 beats per minute so I'm thinking it's a girl. What do you think? For those of you who know the sex of your baby how fast is their heartbeat?? I love guessing games!!

Hope this helps....
Apparently in the first and 2nd trimester the baby will have a high heart rate even if its a boy. Also, a babys heart beat will also vary between high and low so it really depends upon when your babys heart beat was measured as to if it fits in with the old wives tale.
Does it say on your scans what the heart beat is, if so where? Im just curious to know what mine is! xxx
here are some more old wives tales for fun...
