how to work out your cycle

this might sound like a silly question but my sister has asked me to ask you all cos im not sure either.
do you work out your cycle from your last period to your next.
sorry if i sound thick x

Im no expert but I think its from the 1st day of your last period to the 1st day of your next. Normally its around 28 days and you ovulate around 12-16 day but as you can see from some of the posts on here, it varies immensly.

It's day one as first day of your af, counted until day before your next af. xx
