FAO Bon79 re; Lap and Dye

Please can you tell me if you were advised to take time off work after this procedure?

I have my HSG done 2 weeks ago and now need to have a lap and dye and just wondered if I need to book a week of or what?

Please advise.

    ..Hi Sarah - to be honest I'm probably not the best person to advise on this...I think Im one of the oddities after a lap and dye...I initially booked a week off (and needed it)...then I got an infection...so had another week off..and now?...well now I have shingles so off for another week due to the symptoms (shingles isn't infectious in itself)...so hmmm, three weeks later Im still doing daytime TV!! ARRGGHHHH!!!

    seriously though I would go for a week if you can but you definately need three days,
    Good luck and hope it works out for you - the procedure is really nothing to worry about
