advice?
i am currently working for the nhs ive been awarded secondment to do my nurse training so in apr i will go to uni full time for 3 years while i get paid my wage i will loose about ??150 as they pay enhancements for weekends and late shifts but i'll cope with that, i am a bit concerned about coping my son will be 22 months old when i start im not sure what im goiong to do about childcare? i use my stepmom at the mo who is a childminder but its giong to cost alot?? i know i will just have to struggle on and get through as it will be so much better when i have qualified any advice plz post

I don't know how it works but I'm pretty sure that you can get some help with child care e.g. paying by vouchers so you get it tax and NI free but your stp-mother would have to be registered. Also from about 3 children are entitled to free nursery places so although that won't help immediately it will do eventually!
