How to get a profile pic?

Hiya girls,
been a member since the start of the year and decided 2 try and get a profile pic on here, ive tried 2 upload one on 'my profile' and it wont let me, the pic isnt a big size at all and is a jpeg so i dont understand why it wont let me do it, it just takes me to a blank page? am i doing somethin wrong?!?
