  • I have a PhD in Zoology and work as a lecturer in college specialising in animal nutrition (particulary large herbivores) and anatomy and physiology. Not much use to anyone on here unless you want me to do a dissection (I'm particularly good at piglets!), or tell you what to feed you horse or cow!

I think this is a great thread - it's really interesting to see what people do for a living! image
  • I'm a ... nothing...god you are all so clever. I have worked in pubs and shops so if anyone wants to know how to pull a pint ask me lol. I also have an A level in German...not very relevant to babies I know!

you're a mum - who from sounds of your posts, a bloody good one at that too!!

  • Errrmmmm - am struggling here now! I have worked in school kitchens, done cleaning, worked in offices, pubs and other general stuff but no real "expertise" in anything!

I know - REALITY TV!!! Have always got an opinion about that and I suppose being a mum to a 15 year old, a 7 year old and a 6 month old I should have gained some knowledge along the way!

  • I'm a qualified primary teacher, who then bought a pub and so became a qualified licencee. I can give you the ins and outs of running a pub, how much it really costs, how to look after real ales (rather than all that crappy keg stuff  ) and all about alcohol.... image

I now work at Bargain Booze, which suits me at the moment being part time, so I can tell you about the offers on at the moment....

My Hubby, can tell you almost anything you need to know about post, or he was a builder before that, (comes in handy doing repairs and modernisations image ) and when he was younger he was a stationary sales rep, who also repaired them... and he has a file full of qualifications for this that and the other...(management etc).. image not sure why he chose me...

  • Website marketing, not those horrid Fairy ads, lol. No it's quite boring I design websites for a Bank. Not much fun trying to promote mortgages these days, couldn't have picked a better time to be on mat leave.
Other than that I'm addicted to looking at holidays online. I do it for all my friends and am known to find a good bargain when no one else can. S x
