Tummy bug and breastfeeding??

Hi ladies,

Does anyone know if its ok to keep breastfeeding whilst ill with a tummy bug?

I dont want to increase the risk of lo getting infected - not sure what to do

    yes you can - its good to keep going as the antibodies you produce to fight off the infection will pass through to your lo so they will already have a good defence against it.
    chances are they may get it anyway wether you were feeding them or not...

    just make sure you drink plenty of fluids and try to eat if you can.
