breastfeeding whilst pregnant???
hello everyone.Im really worried,think i may be pregnant and im worried about grace as some of you know im bf her.Can i still continue?i feel as though my letdown is taking ages when im feeding her and worried shes not gettin any milk.She only has 2 feeds a day now as it is.Im just after some help and advice please as im really scared!!wasnt expecting anymore just yet!!! lol xxxx

the only thing they say is that your toddler/older child may notice a very slight difference in taste before the new baby is born due to your body producing colostrum for the newborn.

you can use the one breast for one baby routine, where the body will get used to which child is using which, but - and i'm not too clued up on the actual how it does it, the body just seems to know ( something to do with the visual senses that relay messages to the brain/body and the slightly different suckling techniques the children will use) - most just allow the toddler to feed the same as the newborn. The milk changes back to what the newborn needs mainly in this case - but having 'first' milk will do no harm to the older child (how many mothers stay on stage 1 formula until 1 year old instead of moving onto follow on /progress etc....) and it has more nutrients and antibodies in it .
