My 12 week old son got some money for Christmas and we want to get him a new play gym but do not know what to go for. Does anyone have any suggestions? We could go up to about ??50 but hoping to get a sales bargain!
i had the same one as EmilyB for maya its weird it actualy cost ??13 more now than it did when i got it for her and she is almost 4 now, and that was it at its normal price.
the one we have for charlie is a bit like this one, but its got a bit more padding, is green and orange but they dont seem to do the exact same one any more, this one is on sale at the moment and costs ??25.35
we bought the mothercare play place when Ollie was younger - it's roomy enough for him to lie flat on with sides up (for when he started rolling), big enough to let it out completely flat and had lots of toys with it - he used it from about 4 months till he was about 9 months, then we brought it back out again when he was 13 months old and put some plastic balls into it turning it into a play pit for him - so well worth the money - and so much more than just a mat with toys or an inflatable ring thing that makes them all squished....... (sorry no offence to anyone with those, they just werent for us)
cant wait to get it back out for the next one to use, but might have to convince Ollie its not for him anymore first!
Thanks everyone! Well after nearly buying two (so many good ones suggested!) I still blew the budget and got the same one as MummyStephe, the Bright Starts one. It arrives tomorrow and I am hoping it cheers him up after his jabs as he is not himself at all, bless him. xx
