Dry skin on face?

Hi ladies,

Does anyone have any recommendations as to what cream to put on dry skin on lo's face?

I think its being caused by being out in the cold weather

Someone advised aqueous cream but it smells a bit medicated so am not sure

    Hey,

    I would say use aqueous cream - you could check with a pharmastic to ensure it is not medicated but by lo is ok with it and she has sensitive skin.

    The other thing i've put onher face is sudacrem.

    My midwife recommended olive oil - it works well for Lily.

    Dr recommended Aveeno Cream. Its made by Johnson&Johnson and is brilliant. Clears up any dry places overnight.

    I use E45 cream, I found that sudacrem dried it out even more.

    Avent Magic Cream. expensive (cheapest in Tesco) but brilliant!

    I also find that if it's really cold out, putting some vasiline on his face before we go out helps.

    Evie suffers really badly with dry skin on her face, it flares up a lot. I'm using e45 at the mo and it seems to be helping but you have to put it on fairly often. I've never heard of Aveeno cream- do they sell it in supermarkets? If so is it with the baby things or with the medicines?
