Child benefit etc
Okay, I work, I always have done and own my own house (albeit with an enormous mortgage!) so I am very fortunate (perhaps) not to know much about the benefits system and how it works.
I keep reading things in other areas about how if this baby was due in April I would be getting ??190 for this and ??500 for that, but our baby is due in February????
How do I find out if I am entitled to anything??? Do tax credits/child benefit come through automatically or do we have to apply???
Just wondered if anyone had any advice??? They way things are at the moment anything would help!!

Unfortunately your baby has to be born after April to qualify for the 'new mums' benefit of ??190
