quick question about the 190 grant.

  the 190 is for everybody with a due date after 6/4/09
  so of you're entitled to ??500 grant you can get it as well as the ??190 isnt means tested.

  everyone due after 6/4/09 is entitled to the ??190 grant regardless of other benefits, grants, incomes etc

  the ??500 grant is sure start maternity grant think you apply after 29 weeks.

  as far as i'm aware you have to speak to your midwife about the forms, they have to fill in part of it and sign it. i see my mw in two weeks and will be asking her about it then.

  hi i have already done this your mw will have the forms for both, you can claim the 190 after 25 weeks as long as you are due on or after the 6th april anyone can claim it the 500 you have to be on a low income not to sure of the criteria your mw will tell you, but you can claim that from 29 weeks,x
