Did you start giving your lo finger foods? I can't find any straight answers in my AK book and can't remember from first time round 4 years ago!!xxxx

    I think Grace really started to eat finger foods properly at about 7 and a half months, altho every baby is different. I now feel confident giving her finger foods and shes nearly 10 months

    I started mine with thin fingers of toast at around 7 months, then moved onto other things like sarnies, pieces of veg etc after that.

    about 6 months, maybe slightly later. most experts say when they can sit unaided and when they can hold something in their hand. toast is a good starter,
