im a dental nurse. you can go to the dentist any time thoughout your pregnancy. dentists just may use a different anaesthetic as one type can induce labour so the dentist would use a differnt one. obvously the dentist wont take any x-rays and would probably rather do the least amount of treament on you, however if you need a filling im sure he/she can do that without any problems.
