PCOS - Verity
Hi Ladies
I am new to babyexpert.com, recently married I am now looking into improving my chances of having a baby. Having been diagnosed with PCOS just under 2 years ago, I know that I am going to battle. The thought of not having a baby breaks my heart.
Anyway I have come across a charity called Verity and I am thinking of joining, but I just wanted to check that it is a legitimate organisation. I know this sounds so untrusting but I think that this is such an emotional topic that could easily be exploited.
I look forward to getting to know many of you through chatting together.

Verity seems to be an organisation that helps women with PCOS. They fund research and hold conferences etc.
Since posting this topic I read a really good article in the Holland and Barrett 'Healthy' magazine which recommended them. So I have now joined.
Their website is: http://www.verity-pcos.org.uk/
Here is hoping.
My doctors don't seem to be doing much to help me - I think I am going to request being sent to a specialist
I've had PCOS for years and Verity is one of the best sites for advice etc.
I've also got a few good books on the subject which are full of lots of useful info, I've read everything going so if you've got any questions just shout up!
