@MizB that's so funny - I was exactly the same. We just booked in to see a fertility specialist because it had been 6 months and I'm 35. Then BOOM, got a bfp when least expected!! First obstetrician appointment is 29 April. Seems like ages away. Don't think it will actually feel real til that scan!

@Luluuu oh wow! That's super similar! I definitely hear the "feels like ages away thing". I keep counting the days! How far along are you? Any symptoms?

@MizB I'm 4w3d. How about you? I've had sore boobs and weird vivid dreams (woke up crying last night!). That's it though. Nothing symptom wise for you yet? Because I don't feel pregnant I'm finding it hard to remember to avoid foods like soft cheeses!

@Luluuu I'm 5w1d. I had really sore boobs and fatigue for a while but now both have subsided. Same here on forgetting! I accidentally had lunch meat as well as goat cheese after I found out. Hoping it feels more real after my doctor's appointment!

@Scooby123! My app says I'm 4 weeks, 5 days based on lmp but I think it's a week less that that. I'm feeling fine generally and seem to have more energy that usual which is odd, but just beginning to get sore boobs. How are you doing? When are you due?

@Luluuu do you reckon vivid dreams are actually due to pregnancy? I thought I was crazy when I woke up crying last Saturday, 4 days before my bfp. That's funny we've both been crying but not many other symptoms.
It's difficult remembering what foods we cant eat now, and trying to find nice alternatives to alcohol. One definite perk for me though is my husband is on kitty litter duty for the next 8 months

@FailingToBePatient apparently the vivid dreams are caused by the pregnancy hormones. So we probably have many more to come! Haha, me too. We have 2 cats and I have really going to enjoy not changing any kitty litter for the rest of the year - woohoo!

@MizB I am 5+1 too but having sickness and nausea so you’re very lucky!
@Luluuu I agree with the kitty litter! My husband is now on duty for the next 8 months! Ha!

Hi @Jesusis#1 welcome to the forum and congratulations! Did you get your UTI taken care of?

How is everyone else doing? Has anyone got the ball rolling with hospital appointments yet?

I had my booking in appointment with the midwife today, lots if questions and forms and bloods done.

Currently around 7+4 and hospital going to ring to arrange my 12 week scan! All coming around very quickly xx

That's all good @DaniRose94 - and how are you feeling symptoms wise?

Well my boobs have probably grown a cup size already and are very tender! Other than that I need the toilet alot and get tired easily but fingers crossed no morning sickness yet!

Hello and congratulations to everyone whose recently joined!

Supposedly starting Week 6 today. My app on my phone says babe could be the size of a sweet pea (if my EDD is correct).

My in-laws stayed with us this past weekend which was fun trying to figure out how to "pretend" to drink alcohol with them. I think we pulled it off thanks to my husband sacrificing his sobriety to chug my drinks while nobody was paying attention.

My parents will be staying with us this weekend which will be another challenge as we celebrate Easter and typically do an "Easter Beer Hunt" for the adults. Never realized how boozy of a family I'm in till you can't drink booze anymore :).

I do get a bit of indigestion after eating some foods and have some food aversion/nausea but my symptoms have remained mild. Still bloated, sore boobs, lower back ache, fatigue, and using the restroom a lot. I continue to exercise and walk our dog for about a combined hour every day; trying to take advantage of not feeling sick yet.

I'm trying not to buy stuff as I don't want to jinx anything but I did end up getting some of this belly lotion and oil on a whim if everything works out. Sounds shallow but I am hoping I can avoid getting a ton of stretch marks if I can.

My first OB appt isn't till May 3rd and time seems to be moving soooo slowly. I just want proof or to hear that everything is going okay.

It’s making me jealous how lucky you all are. Why am I so sick?! Fed up of nausea and sickness after 11 days. Still got at least another 6 weeks of it! It’s making it really hard to keep it a secret when I’m running my classes and I feel like I wanna throw up 🤮 I would trade it for the sore boobs and backache any day of the week!

Hi ladies I'm joining you. Did a digi test this morning and I'm 1-2 weeks so very early days. According to my dates I'm 3+6 never had a positive test so early it's always been around 5 weeks. I'm very nervous but excited

Hi @Mumto5tobe welcome and congratulations. That's amazing getting your BFP so early - you think you might have ovulated earlier?

@LivyLouby we're so sorry to hear about the sickness, it really has got you early. Do any of the 'classic' remedies like ginger tea, or dry biscuits help at all?

Thank you danielle. I had ovulation pains the night of 1st April but haven't been tracking ovulation. I've been feeling sick since yesterday so might be further on as that doesn't normally kick in til 5-6 weeks.
