What beautiful bump pictures. super neat bumps xxx

Radom question but does anyone else notice more baby movement when music is playing. mine seems to get super wriggly when it hears music... they were playing some cheesy 80's stuff in the doctors and my baby was either loving it and dancing or hating it and kicking me to turn it off lol xx

How cute Ellabella - maybe you have a budding 80s music fan on your hands! I haven't noticed anything particular re music (although I will probably be on the lookout now!). What I have noticed is that she will be kicking away and when OH leans in to talk to her she'll stop, as though she is listening. Hopefully it'll be that easy to calm her when she is born lol!

Has anybody tested positive for group B strep? It isn't routinely rested for in the UK but I went in to my maternity unit one night last week as I was having cramps and slight spotting (it turns out I just had a urine infection). I guess they must have swabbed me for group B strep at the same time as I had a letter through a few days ago saying I am a carrier currently and will need an IV of antibiotics during labour.

Thank you :) Lovely bump sugar you can definitely tell you are pregnant now but it's very neat!

Our baby wiggles all the time and then as soon as someone puts their hand on my bump it she stops!

Sugar i was tested in my first pregnancy after spotting but I was negative. I do remember my friend been positive when pregnant and she and baby had to have a drip of antibiotics and had to stay in hospital over night but both were fine and came home the Next day. I don't think it's anytging to worry about.

Hi sugar.. not been tested but was planning on paying for a private test closer to my due date. They test everyone as standard in france but the NHS tests arent great here and arent very accurate.

Its not something to worry about... better to be safe... much better this way than not knowing and it harming Lyra xxxxxx

I was looking for some help. I received a letter through from the health visitor on Friday advising they would like to see me on Monday. I rang to move it due to work shifts etc. I understand they see you prior to birth, but I forgot to ask if I go to my gp to see them or if they visit you? It is my first pregnancy so no idea how that works and I feel stupid for not asking the question when I called them :) lol!

    Thank you

    Hi lady's

All the names you have picked are lovely. I let OH pick our sons name and he came up with Darren david which I like. He's into all the really old names so I thought he's pick John or something. But I like what he picked.

What is the anti d injection?

I was tested for a few things when I was 13 weeks but haven't heard anything since. So I assume everything is ok.

I have a midwifes app the end of the month. First time I'll have been back to the hospital since I was 13 weeks I'm now 25+4.

We got the baby a rocking crib for downstairs but I'm not to sure what I'm going to use for bed time yet. I do have a bigger cot but I think he will be to small to go in to that yet.

imageThis is my changing bump lol. I've got my 28 week midwife appointment this week. and then consultant week after and a scan with a specialised doctor to see if they can see a reason why I would have too much water. Xx

    Hi everyone,
We just wanted to drop by and let you know about a couple of threads…

The first is a great Lakeland competition where you could win £100 Lakeland vouchers. If you have a favourite Lakeland product you use, just snap a pic of it and tell us why you love it on this competition thread - it’s as simple as that!

The second thread we’re talking about is this very odd game for kids called Silly Sausage… you have to see it to believe it (or maybe we just have dirty minds?). Please do come and check out that thread here.

    Thank you!

Thanks for the advice on group B strep  - I guess it's better to know than not!

Nice bump photos! Don, I have found the same as you - I just all of a sudden look more pregnant than I did. I'm still measuring small apparently but I don't really feel it now.

That's a nice name amym - it's good you have found one you both like.

jbcj - have you had your appointment yet? If not, could you ring back and ask? It might be different in every area. So far I have had to travel to all of my appointments though.

Well we had a scan this morning and things are looking good still. The baby has had a bit of a growth spurt and is now measuring at the 19th percentile for estimated weight, rather than the 5th. I guess that explains why I feel so much bigger in the last few weeks! 1lb 14oz to 3lb 2oz seems like quite a jump to me.

    Sugar

I didn't at first I wanted something different that no one else had but he didn't like the names. So If I had names in mind he was constantly saying no so I just came around to the name as I did say he could pick baby's name if baby was a boy.

But then again same thing was happening if we were having a girl didn't like any of the names I did. Just can't win lol

Just had my whooping cough vaccine and feeling totally anxious that I made the wrong decision.... arghhh i hate it... feel guilty either way.. would never forgive myself if i didnt have it and something happened but made the mistake of reading posts from mums who are convinced their bubbas were fine before having it :/

I really wish i could relax and have the perfect glowing happy pregnancy i always thought i would have instead of being in a total panic most of the time :(

Ladies u have chosen some lovely names great belfies too. I had a whooping cough vaccination about a week and a half ago I also had it with my second had no problems with my son apart from the odd sniffke. Someone asked about the movements of baby when listening to music and I'm with u on that all mine have been the same my youngest loves a bit of dubstep drum and bass cos that's what used to get me up and cleaning when I was pregnant with him he loves all music but proper dances to that loo. This one is always on the wiggle in the car listening to music.

I'm actually starting to panic a bit this pregnancy has gone so fast and I'm not ready for 3 under 5 lol I haven't got much to buy apart from bottles and some new clothes baby bouncer and then essentials nappies and that. My flat is not big enough and I'm trying to get my youngest to sleep in his brothers room unsuccessfully I might add lol

Hope all is well with u ladies I'm off on the school run but it's pretty damn cold and I just wanna be curled up in bed 😥

Ellabella, try not to feel guilty! I had both the whooping cough and flu vaccines a month or so ago - I don't think any baby vaccinations are in doubt for me as I know I would regret not having them more than having them.

How many weeks are you now Kyrie? I think this pregnancy is going really quickly now as well. We have just ordered our pram, crib, car seat etc and can't wait until they arrive (they are going to my parents' house though so probably won't see everything until Christmas!).

I had my haemophilia appt yesterday and I'm feeling a bit happier. They have already given me the drugs I will need to take with me in my hospital bag, which is very reassuring as one of my main worries was the hospital forgetting them! I need to start taking the tablets as soon as I'm in active labour and won't need an IV unless I have an epidural or caesarean. The only other thing is that I have to have a managed third stage of labour to limit bleeding.

I think I had my first noticeable bout of Braxton Hicks last night - it was so strange! I felt a "feeling" (not really pain or discomfort) in my lower abdomen and then my uterus felt like a round, solid ball. I could really feel the outline of the baby and exactly where she was. It happened quite a few times before I eventually managed to get to sleep.

Hope you all have a lovely weekend planned!
