  • It's lovely Jane! I'm gonna get mine out soon to make sure it gets the new smell off it.. mine isn't anything fancy I'll attach photo x image that's the shop photo of it. I haven't taken any photos of it myself yet but it has the car seat too x

  • Aww that's well cute 1st. I have never been one to spend a fortune on anything but I found mine which comes with car seat, carry cot attachment, the sitting up attachment, rain cover, cup holder, nappy bag and seat liner for £650 which is a bargain for silver cross.

  • Wow that's amazing for a silver cross!! I'm the same, couldn't justify £1500 on a pram! Xx

  • No I couldn't spent that much for a pram! It's crazy money lol especially when it isn' just the pram you need.. babies are so expensive glad I kept stuff from my daughter so wasn't as bad x

  • Hey ladies!!

Will make sure I add you all on instragam as I do love lots of baby photos ❤️ My username is hannylou247!

We have our Pram now, decided to go with the Occarco. Thankfully my parents paid for the 9 piece bundle as there is no way we could justify that type of money!

Starter the hospital bag this week as it looks like baby may come at 37 weeks due to his position.. nursery is all set up too, just few bits to add to it!

Has everyone decided on names yet? We are really stuck as can’t agree on any.. hoping something will pop up after he is born 🙈

sorry to hear people have been feeling poorly, there is so much going around at the moment :(

  • I added u hanny 😊

Awww ur nursery is cute! Makes me want another room for baby 😏 your so organised atm my cot is in my room and is storage for all my Xmas presents lol but her wardrobe is all sorted and organised.

I have already decided on Florence for our girl, luckily my partner likes it aswell so was easy i decided on that right at the beginning of the pregnancy. A name will come to you when you see him 😁

When you say babys position do u mean hes head down ready to come? I have a scan weds I think bubs is still breech and I'm 32weeks. Really hope she will turn asap if not I will be doing what ever I can to get her to ad i really dont want c-section 😕 x

  • Hanny, it's exciting that you may get to meet your little one sooner than you think.. what position is he in? Your nursery is lovely too!!

We have had our names since before we conceived lol - Isaac for a boy and Amelia for a girl. I was gutted last night when I saw someone called their baby Amelia, I don't know her though lol.

Jane, do you have to have a C section if baby is breech? I looked at my maternity notes and I think baby is head down for me at the moment.

Here's pictures of our nursery - just need to get some pictures in and a mattress in the cot!

  • Awww all these baby bits are getting my excited! Lovely girls!

added u all on insta 💕

    sounds baby is engaged Hanny?

My son was head down since the 20 week ultrasound and he was a day late haha.

My girls are head down and seem to be at each scan now so I’m hoping they stay that way. Would much prefer a natural birth if it’s safe. I don’t want a section-it’ll be so hard running around after my son otherwise!

Still cant believe how fast it’s all going. I have my next appointment in 3 weeks I think so we will be discussing birth options etc then :/ I have a sneaking suspicion these two might want to come early though!

  • Ahhh first ur room is cute 😍

🤣 I'm like that with the names I haven' posted what ima call my girl incase someone takes it 🤣 out of everyone on my fb think I'm due 1st.

I'm guessing it will be a c-section if she don' budge and agree with Aussie I really don' want it as already have a 4year old who' hard work.

I have a scan this weds then last one at 36 weeks in Jan so she has time! I've browsed online at natural ways I can get her to turn so I'll be trying it all.

Ahhh Aussie that doesn't seem far away at all does it! So excited and dunno about u but a tad worried how it will be with baby and my naughty 4year old! Hope it will calm her down abit

  • Had a scan this evening. Baby is no longer breech and is quite low down which is a relief. They scanned her kidneys and it's showing she has echogenic kidneys so have to see my consultant asap. Im high Risk due to ADPKD and its possible she already has it which I was told is quite rare (before birth) As we always do I decided to Google it and have worried myself even more with what I read. I always knew it was a 50/50 chance of her having it but never knew it would be this early on. My 4 year old never had it when she was scanned a few months old she will have another when she 5 and no one in my family had it untill after birth.

Haven't spoken to my partner much about it as don't wanna worry him before we speak to someone. 😔 going to try rush a consultant appt 2moro.

  • Bless you Jane. i know it’s not quite the same but I understand the worry of something being wrong with your baby.

I know it’s hard to do but try to stay positive. I hope your consultant can help you and you get in to see one ASAP 💕

  • Thanks Aussie, it's so horrible knowing there is nuffin you can do isn't! From what I've seen online it's worse the longer she has it and they only just seen it so hopefully will all be ok! If her kidneys are bad it can affect the amniotic fluid which can affect her lungs and liver! It's frustrating not actually knowing what's going on. I'm 33 weeks Friday so not long till she is here. I' going to call 1st thing in the morning a ask for an appt with consultant i do have one in Jan but can't wait that long.

    How is everyone else feeling?

  • Sorry ladies my notifications appeared to have stopped so didn’t think people were posting! Managed to put the notifications back on now!

Oh Jane sorry to hear about the stress you are going through, keep us updated.

So baby is engaged but Breech.. I have been signed off Work as of today so no more work until november 2018 which feels CRAZY! He was transerve which was so painful but gone back to Breech. Suffering big time with SPD, some mornings I can’t even walk so least one less stress to worry about now!

Everyone ready for Christmas?! I’m struggling to do not too much, I used to be out all the time and busy but realising my body can’t manage it at the moment. Need to learn to rest and do nothing!

  • Hi hanny, I spoke to someone from the hospital and I've been booked in for a scan with a specialist on the 29th. She said it looks like she has PKD but as my amniotic fluid has been normal everything should be ok will no more at the next appt.

Oh wow that sounds ages away doesn't it! Enjoy every moment you have off with LO when people say "they grow to quickly" they ain't lieing 😕 I no how u feel with the pain mine is worse in the eve tho. Have u been physio?

I'm nearly ready for Xmas! Dunno about anyone else but the tiredness, not being able to do much because of pain is really putting a downer on it lol I'm busy all day cleaning/shopping with appts or just being a mum to a hyper 4 year old I don't stop till 10 some nights. Like u say need to learn to rest when body tells me to 🤣🤣

  • Hey ladies!

Jane good to hear that baby is no longer breech! Good that they are monitoring the levels though. Not much longer to go and she will be here.. crazy how we all started speaking at like 3-4 weeks pregnant now we have a few weeks left!!

Hanny, I hope baby turns soon for you and doesn't cause you too much grief! Your bundle of joy won't be long :) I've added you on Instagram too btw! :)

So I've been referred to physio due to the pain in my lower left of my back - like sciatica pain. It can be really bad some times. Got my appt through yesterday for next Friday (29th) so hopefully they will be able to help .. as I was gonna pay £50 for a massage!

I had my works Christmas do last night and after a tan and make up being done, I felt loads better! Everybody couldn't believe my bump got 7 months lol. Picture attached of my dress - you can't really see my bump though from front on xximage

  • I've seen the physio Jane but they weren’t very helpful. Some days are better and worse than others but it’s so much easier to manage when I don’t have too much on ie work!

Ah first you look lovely and it’s amazing how good a pampering session can make you feel, going to book myself in for some treatments in the new year.

I hope everyone has a lovely Christmas as it will be the last one before we have our 10 month olds causing chaos :-)

  • Beautiful 1st! Hope u had a lovely time.

Hanny- Yeah same with me! She asked if I wanted to see her again before baby is here but I said no as it isn't actually helping and they just say you can't do much being pregnant 😏 agree with u usually worse when I've had a busy day.

What a manic Xmas! Spent most of it at home in pjs cooking and cleaning up after my daughter and eating loads lol was nice not having to get done up. Constantly been trying to research online about fetal PKD and no hope. We have our scan with specialist 2moro morning and feeling quite worried about it 😔 but hopefully we finally get some answers.

  • Hope you all had a lovely Christmas ladies! Can't believe we are almost into January!

I have physio tomorrow on my lower back as it's often unbearable when I walk and has been for the past 10 weeks :(

I have spent the last day washing and drying the baby clothes! Between what we've been given and what grandparents have bought for Xmas, our drawers are pretty full! They are pretty much only babygrows and vests though as we haven't found out the gender so not many outfits you can buy! But I'm sure we can't have too many vests and baby grows!

Hope your scan goes okay tomorrow Jane! Don't go worrying too much, I know.its hard not to but try your best. Let us know how you get on!

When is everyone finishing up in work? I go back Tuesday and then finish 2nd Feb! Xx

  • Ahhh good luck with physio first as you can see from mine and hannys experience they don't help much 😏 but no how i feel with the pain.

You are sooo organised I aint even brought washing powder for the baby yet 🤣 i will start it soon tho as i am 34 weeks 2day

Had my appt I'm a tad pissed off with the hospital. My consultant couldn't work out why they requested he see me again as her kidneys are fine! Think I may have to make a complaint as they told me she had PKD and made me worry for 9 days! My fluid has decreased tho so they will be keeping a close eye still.

I finished about a week ago because of my hip not sure when I will go back as I'm self employed I'll just wait and see how things go when bubs is here x

  • Jane, you're right they weren't much help. Gave me an exercise to do and ordered me a support belt but that can take at least 3 weeks to arrive making me almost 36 weeks before I get it. They say they can't do much like pushing on it due to pregnancy so just gotta hope it eases after birth.

I feel so unorganised that's why I had to do all the washing lol. My next thing to do is the hospital bags! Then install the car seat and I'm good to go I think!

Omg that's awful regarding your appointment!! How can they tell you something like that and then tell you everything was fine! I would deffo complain Hun.. stress like that is not needed! Is it written in your notes? At least then you'll have proof that they told you to back it up.. I would be as annoyed as you. Deffo complain!

Aw that's handy then! Being your own boss :) I can't wait to finish but got a few weeks yet! X
