  • I keep trying to record movements however I'm getting self conscious about my newly hairy belly! At least it's still blondey. Sneeze peeing is my new thing! Thank god for tena ladies! 21+6 today. Midwife on weds.

Still feeling tired however not too many aches and pains, just back pain after a long day at work. Finding cuddling my bump pillow quite good for nighttime.

Getting really excited for Christmas now! Then baby will be here after that eek! Might have some appearances by then too!

    X

  • Ah that's so lovely that you can see movements. My placenta is at the front so can't really feel much. I have felt the odd thing that I think is a kick but not all the time. This happened to anyone else? I'm dying to feel them really kick and so is my husband haha x

  • So I had my fetal medicine scan yesterday and all is well for now. Little man is a tiny 1lb 2oz estimated weight and is small for age but still growing proportionally so that's good. Placenta is still healthy and not over my section scar at the moment. I'll be having more growth scans in the next few weeks and another specialist scan at 32 weeks to assess the placenta after which we will make a decision about timing of delivery! Anything after 35 weeks will make me happy! Xxx

  • Ajw2018 my due date is 26/1/19 however my doctor doesn’t think they will let me go until forty weeks. I’ve been told I could deliver around December 22 to January 1 so we’ll see. I’ve gotta start planning our baby shower soon

  • AJW I have a placenta at the front and it was bang on 20 weeks I started to feel kicks. Still not strong enough for the baby’s dad to feel though which he is bitterly disappointed about.

this sounds ridiculous but the babys dad has been on a stag do for 3 days and I swear the baby hasnt moved as much. He still moves, it’s as if there’s a weak spot in my placenta because it’s always usually the right side and low down I feel him but definitely not as much as usual

  • image ☺️☺️☺️ Tried to post the video but it wouldn't let me! There were lots of tears, amazing reaction from the family 👨‍👩‍👧

  • Awww fab Zoe.

Chech how's babas movements now? Xxx

  • Aww Zoe, congratulations on team 💓

  • Honestly his dad came home yesterday and he’s been wriggling around constantly ever since. I couldn’t sleep last night for him rolling around low in my tummy. I think he already has a favourite and it’s not me.

Zoe congratulations on team pink! your Gender reveal looks lovely

  • Hi..

I am due 4th January 2019. image just looking for others due around same time to chat with. There will be a 14 year age gap between my children which I'm getting increasingly nervous about!!

  • Hi Colpage! I’m due 7th January but I’m a first time mum.

There is 15 years between me and my sister with nobody else in between and she is one of my favourite people in the whole wide world. I was heavily involved in her care when I was younger and now that she’s almost a teenager I’m the only person she knows not to talk back to! I’m sure it’ll be fine.

Also have a 19 year gap and a 21 year gap now With my other 2 siblings

  • Chech defo sounds like it haha. Little monkey.

Colpage I'm due 1st Jan with #4 there'll be a 14 year age gap between my eldest and this one, then 6 years, then 22 months. I think it's nice in a way as they've got a role model and the oldest can help so much.

    Xxx

  • I'm hoping it works out OK! I worry about ow my eldest will cope... She's been an only child for such a long time! I'm also still spewing up every day which is no fun at all!!

  • Congrats on your little girl Zoe... fab pic of the reveal!

Chech- glad movements picked back up... how funny that bubba seems to know your oh's voice already! It'll be a blessing if that soothes baby once born!

Welcome colpage! I think you'll like this group... they are a lovely bunch of ladies! I had an 11 year age gap between my youngest 2 girls (my current baby is nearly 2) and there will be 19 years between my eldest and this bubba.... my eldest 4 were and are fantastic with my little one! Xxx

  • Colpage honestly your older child will adjust. I was the same I was an only child until I was 15 but it’s not the same because you don’t want the same things if that makes sense? Like the baby needed teething rings whilst I wanted an iPod so there was no direct competition and honestly I am so close to my little sister she tells me everything.

Apricot i I know it’s so strange. Its probably because I had more to do whilst he was away in terms of housework and things but it has definitely picked up since he’s been home. Just need him to feel the kicks now and we’re all happy!

  • Oh also - bought my first maternity jeans and leggings today from Lidl in their baby event and they are amazing. I’ve neber bought anything from Lidl before but I am really impressed. Their sizing is small but they feel great on if you go up a size Or two

  • Chech I bought the Lidl jeans too! They’re great! I bought two sizes and I had to keep the bigger size couldn’t get the other past my thighs! 🤣 definitely worth it for £10!!!

Zoe your gender reveal looks cute!! X

Had another scan yesterday and baby has enlarged kidneys so got to have another one at 28 weeks with fetal medicine department to check it’s ok! Hope you’re all doing well! Xx

  • Apricot0904 - you asked us a while back about McLaren and Maxi Cosi being at The Baby Show - McLaren (not sure why!) don't attend, but Maxi Cosi are there, usually featured on a concession stand.

Keep your eyes peeled on Latest Posts for some free tix to The Baby Show soon - we'll give you guys a heads up when they're available 😊
