Oh my gosh rustic u ok! I can't believe they couldn't scan you it wouldnt of taken long to check u were ok. It's not right is it. sorry to hear it though couldn't of been nice.
Try not to stress Claire all should be fine and our little ones are comfy in there in the warm x

I got really angry yesterday and my whole body was shaking I could feel my blood pressure and hormones. I offered to pick oh up from station and I thought he'd said ok and got myself and son all ready to go and he rang and said he was getting the bus, I was so angry and started crying
Hopefully baby is ok I was a bit like it with my son, but not without reason given that my ex and his mum were constantly nasty to me. This is basically over nothing xx
Hi ladies and happy new year! I agree with the others, its not right that they didn't check you thoroughly before releasing you. I had a specialist appointment on Wednesday because I'm over 35 and considered high risk. I was so nervous for the appointment to the point I was almost becoming depressed. Well, everything was great and our little one was all too pleased to show us that we are having a boy!! My hubby is so excited. I was shocked to find out that so early. I'm 13.1 today So excited to think about how fast this year is going too fly by. I hope you are all doing well and wish you loads of luck at your scans.

I am meeting midwife next Wednesday but I am starting to get a bit nervous as i'm not 100% sure what to expect. Also is anyone else's first scan after they are 12 weeks? I am now thinking of paying for a scan on my own as I am book in for first week in February but to me that is too far away. My family history isn't very good with pregnancies and I am now getting worried as it is so far away.
I have been chilling out today and haven't got stressed! Let us know how the private scan goes Rustic xx
zoie how far will you be on your 12 week scan? Mine is on the 11th so I'll be 12 weeks and a couple of days. I think It is worth paying for one, I have had 2 so far as the follow up was half the price and haven't had any symptoms (except being hormonal) with this pregnancy so ive been worried! xx
I must have missed messages when I came on earlier. They should have scanned you that's not fair and will defiantly add on stress.
Glad your relaxing today Claire. I didn't think I would get stress through this pregnancy as it's my first. I just thought I would enjoy it but feeling sick all the time isn't fun.
I will be around 13 weeks. I think I am going to go private. I will call them on Monday and see if they can fit me in. I was also wondering if anyone has any advice what to use on stretch marks? I have been told you should start using something as early as 4 week to avoid them or at least help them. I don't want anymore so any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Bio oil I know it can be expensive but it's good for the scaring of stretch marks. Bepanthon if spelt it right is good too it's what tattooists recommend on the scar tissue so both work just as good. I used both but still ended up with marks. Does help though afterwards as well think mine cud of been a lot worse. I think if ur gonna get them you will on some level. Its taken 3 years for mine to fade on my stomach thighs and backs of knees and now I'm doing it again ha
haha thank you. I will go buy them both and maybe use them both. I was going to buy coco butter stuff but I thought I would ask and get some advice. I'm sure your right though and if your going to get them your going to get them. but hopefully with using a little cream will help them not be so bad.

i used clarins tonic oil - Ive still got silvery marks along top of bikini area though, so maybe there are better ones out there! They were mostly from the weight of my bump at the end.. Also where I had my belly button pierced when I was younger I got a horrible stretch mark over the thin skin
ive realised the cause of my daily headaches is directly after eating chocolate or sugary food.. No more choccy for me for the next 6 months lol... Also, Hello heartburn! Xx

Definitely eventful start of the year.. didnt feel at all good yesterday after being able to keep anything in at all for a couple days. Went to a&e and they decided to send me to Paisley.
Been here in the maternity ward for a day now, currently on my 6th bag of fluid since yesterday 6pm.
What a brill scan! Hope your feeling but better and get well soon and home. Roll on Monday for my scan. I'm 13 weeks today can't believe how fast it's gone. I think I ovulated bit later though so won't b surprised if they tell me I'm 12 weeks but from my forst day of last cycle I'm 13. Libragirl what times ur scan?
K85m it's 3 o'clock. By my private scan I'm 14 weeks Monday but by me lmp I'm 13 weeks so who knows if it'll change Monday. Are you having the nuchal transluceny screening? Have said I will, haven't bothered on others coz I was younger but as I'm older this time I thought I would but having second thoughts now as I wouldnt have an amniocentesis if it came high risk so not sure whether to bother or not now. What time is yours? Xx

Claire don't be so hard on yourself, just make sure you relax and chill out when you can.
I am staying with my mum till Saturday so it's not my local hospital and I guess being NYE I was low priority.

I got a sachet of Bepanthen stretch mark cream in my Bounty Pack from the midwife. The ingredients were scary... Chemical sh** storm springs to mind.
I've got some coconut oil I'll be using, but have only used it once so far.
Oh that's lovely you got a scan at Paisley this is my hosptial I love them I will be 12 weeks 5 days when I get my 12 week scan xx
