He has very smiley eyes and over the last two days has looked at me many times and appeared to smile! Name is still undecided, he's either going to be Noah or Benjamin. Will see how feeding goes. At the moment he's feeding well, I'm a little sore but really focussing getting the best position I can. If it looks like he's losing weight and feeding is becoming an issue I'll sort a referral to address the tongue tie x
Both lovely names, and you know, he does actually look like both! Maybe whichever one you don't go for could become a middle name? Good luck with the breastfeeding, sounds like it's all going great right now, and congratulations again, he really is so lovely.
We had Oliver's tongue tie divided on Monday as it was affecting his feeding (it was over 75% tied) and he has been feeding great since. Glad to hear your little one is feeding fine straight off.
There isn't anywhere local to have it divided with us. your referred to a lactation specialist first who supports you and advises on tricks with positioning, etc but it would be a privately paid procedure somewhere else if needed. Milk seems to be coming so we're day 3 which is on track. He'll be weighed tomorrow so fingers cross for normal weight loss. Nipples are sore and as he goes on its a bit toe curling to start but they're not cracked thankfully x
