Charlieg3 - how are the steroids going? I had a course when I was in the hospital and they were freaking out 😃 I hated the fact the injections hurt as hell 😃 I know that with placenta praevia it can get quite bad during labour, but they have tried their best to prepare you and them for it 😊 I believe it will all go just fine under the team of specialists to watch over you 😊
Sky123 - I know your pain, the last week has been horrible for me, all the pains and still no signs of active labour, and I still have 10 days to go 😟 feeling so fed up now.. my mucus plug is going, but no regular contractions or waters gone.. just small pains all the time..
Erithiel - how are your family doing? I can imagine it can be quite hard this time when you are so pregnant and tired and still have a lot to look after..
It is true what they say, that the last week/month is never ending 8 months ago we were symptom spotting for pregnancy clues and hoping for no shows, now symptom spotting for active labour and any signs of water going this is never-ending story
They wouldnt do a sweep on me today as I was measuring too small. I am so fed up. Its beginning to really effect my mood a bit and I just want to sit and cry. Pathetic I know. 😟
Sky123 not pathetic at all, don’t be hard on yourself. It’s a frustrating time, I’m so bored I feel like I’m just waiting for something to happen. It’ll all be worth it soon, but if you need a good cry then let it all out! x
had my fireworks baby girl on Monday night. I was induced due to scans showing no growth and she was actually smaller than the last 2 scans predicted, the induction was a torturous 31 hours, I reacted to the gel straight away and it’s was relentless.
But all good now, we’re back home, I‘m getting enough sleep, or better said I’m already used to having less sleep, baby is wonderful, doesn’t cry much only when we change her nappy, she’s curious and doesn’t get frightened by new environments, noises etc. She feeds and sleeps very well, got a bit of sore nipples so need to make sure she has a good latch, that doesn’t hurt at all, it’s a bit harder at night with Less light but we’re working on it.
It’s wonderful not being pregnant anymore, all aches gone and I feel back to being myself, no more spaced out etc.
Hope you all get your babies soon and all I see well, it’s worth it in the end.
Thanks LoveElmo, after a long conversation with my mum and a 2km swim I feel much better. Just got to keep positive and know that it will all end soon. 😊

Husband started shift work 3 weeks ago so now does a week of days and a week of nights. It'll take me a while to get used to, especially with kids wanting to wake him up in the mornings. My in laws are coming to visit us in less than 2 weeks so kind of hoping the baby comes before they arrive so we can have a few days to get to know the baby. I can't wait ☺️

Sky I've had my first at 39w 4d, second 38w 3d, third at 40w 5d, I know it's only natural to feel this way when nothing is happening and all you want is to meet your baby! It will happen😚 try to rest as much as possible now just in case things start very soon!
I am new to the thread, I originally joined the December 2018 posts, but my due date was changed to the end of November, and I also didn't seem to be getting updates on the Dec thread. I hope it won't be long before your baby decides it's time 😊 heartburn it's the worst thing ever for me too, it can really make us feel miserable. I honestly can't eat more than 3 bites of anything at the time, otherwise the heartburn it's so bad it stops me from doing things. Also the maternity bras I got a few months ago don't fit anymore as baby's feet are literally tucked underneath my breasts🤣I'm expecting another big baby I'm sure.

My due date is today and I’m still waiting, but I’ve got lots of pre-labour signs! So I’m praying it’s showtime very soon *fingers crossed*!
I’m due 28th November and seems like such a long time. This is my second pregnancy and my son was 2 days early but I’m thinking I’ll be going over this time.
ive had no signs yet, but discomfort when trying to walk haha first day of no working today and I’ve no energy to get things sorted.
im taking raspberry leaf and going to blow up my ball tonight to hopefully get things moving down more!
Had my baby boy this morning after a long wait he decided he couldnt wait any longer and I went from 4cm to baby in arms in less than 3 hours. Rather traumatised bit glad he is here and is doing well. Good luck everyone

Erithriel - It gotten even worse since that 😃 I am up every nigh due to horrible nausea, as our little girl loves pushing on my stomach with her long legs.. I hope that the baby will make it just in time for you to have some special time prior to in-laws coming 😊

Just to let everyone know my little boy Sullivan Was born on thursday weighing 9lb 3oz. He has settled in really well and is perfect! (Bias opinion!!)
