Name ideas

Thought I’d start a new discussion in our ‘due in October’ thread about baby names. I know we won’t know the gender just yet but has anyone got any favourites or ideas?

My son is called Ezra so we’d need something to go with that.

I really like Noah, Elijah, Joshua, Nathaniel (Nate for short) and my husband likes Riley or Ezekiel for a boy. Not quite convinced about them though.

For a girl we like Aurelia, Faye, Eliza, Hazel, Betty, Alice, Beatrice and Ivy.

How about you guys?

  • Oooo I’m really not sure! I wouldn’t mind Charlie/Charles for a boy after my dad but my husband is not convinced. Maybe Juliet for a girl? I think some people shorten this to etty?
  • We like Arlo for a boy, my partner likes Paisley for a girl but I’m in 2 minds. My daughters name is Tianna & my stepson Lewis. I like modern names but not to crazy lol xx
  • My boys are josh, Jensen, Bentley, Stanley and Ross my girls are Chelsea, macElla, Samantha, Atlanta and Audi,
I’m liking Ace or frank for a boy and dani or cherry for a girl with this one
  • My boys are called Callum and Cai and my daughter is called Kayla x
  • Ooh I love all the suggestions. Quite like Jude for a boy too

My little boy is Samuel John, me and my husband find it easy to think of boys names but struggle to agree on girls names. I'm a teacher so a lot of names are a no immediately and I also don't like names that are too popular. My favourite girl's name is Alice.
  • Hey so we found out we are having a boy and really struggling on names.
We both like tradition English boy names.

I love the name Jamie and James only problem with James is I don't like it shortened to Jim or Jimmy. Anyone else is same boat as us. It's so difficult. I'm open to hear your fav names. Xx
