Maternity allowance

Hi. I sent off my claim forms about 3 n a half weeks ago and got a text 2 days later telling me they have received my forms. I still have not heard anything back. Is that a good sign that I am entitled to it? I have been with my employer working full time for 3 years however because I had been on sick leave for the last few months due to pregnancy problems!s I wasn't entitled to SMP. Will I receive full maternity allowance? I requested to start maternity leave 11 weeks before my baby was due so I started on 5th November requested my pay to be back dated. I am a little worried as I am currently not receiving any money and my baby is due in 6 weeks time
