When to switch to Follow on Milk??

My baby is 8 months old and I've just switched from fully breastfeeding to giving 2 bottles of formula in the day. She's weaning but is a bit hit and miss with her appetite so is still getting a lot of nutrition from her milk. When should you switch from first milk to follow on milk? It is so unclear as first milk is from birth to 12 months but follow on milk is from 6 months plus...

u can use follow on from 6m, i think it has more stuff in it to match baby needs that cant be given to younger babes, but u dont have to use it and can stick with regular formula if u want. xx

you dont actually have to switch to follow on milk at all if your lo is happy with the first milk.
it had more curds in it to help them feel fuller, and some chemically enhanced vits that she will prob be getting anyway (out of your milk and weaning) so its not a must to change up a milk.
