Hi all I am new here. My situation is as follows, I have been with my partner for 5 and 1/2 years, we currently live with our parents, and would love a child. My partner says we are not ready to have one as we need to move out and set up home together. Just wish I could fast forward a few years! I love reading all the posts hoping its me one day!

I completly understand your situation. Hubby and I have been together just ove five years and it's only now that hubby is ready, where as I've prob been ready for a while. I know it's difficult to believe at times, but things work out for a reason and when you're both ready and in a position to have a baby (perhaps not living with parents), you will have your baby.
I know that doesn't offer much comfort, and it's hard to hear but it's really important for a couple to be on the same page when they decide to have a child.
