Help!!! Is my baby getting enough calcium.

I have a 13 month old who is lactose intolerant. she will not drink any milk of any description, she drinks diluted apple juice in a bottle. I am now really concerned about her teeth as they have just started to come through and i'm really worried to juice is going to rot her teeth. Can anyone offer any advice please???

  • What about giving her boiled and then cooled water to drink instead? I know it isn't as tasty, but I am sure that letting her drink juice sometimes isn't going to be a problem. You can buy those soft little toothbrushes for first teeth too. I would suggest asking the doctor how you can help her get more calcium if she is lactose intolerant. Did they not advise you on that when you found out? :?
