Just wanted to let you know after speaking to the care advisor for Muscular Dystrophy and he has started the appeal process for PIP on the mobility component. We are within the time scale that if successful it will be backdated to the start of the claim August 2013. The care advisor is dealing with a case where a BMD person who can not walk and uses a well chair was only awarded standard rate as a wheel chair is a mobility aid, definately a mistake there.

He has also contacted council as he was told he would receive a blue badge by the end of end of September. Although it had been agreed they hadn't ordered one, despite being agreed and the fee paid. It has been sorted and we should have it in the week.

H has also tried to contact respiratory department as they were sending him a new mask for his BiPAP which he uses at night. He was ment to be sent a mask in August. He left them an answer phone message and will pop in tomorrow when he is at the cardiology department tomorrow as the clinic is just next door. 

All told H had a very productive day at least he could do all that sitting at home. He is very tired now.
