Mums take daughters, aged 8 and under, for professional beauty treatments: shocked or not?

Hello

We've just been sent a survey suggesting that 2 out of 3 mums of girls under the age of 8 would or already do take their daughter for professional beauty treatments, including hair removal, facials, make-up sessions and manicures.

And 76% of the mums who said they do this said they do it because it "improves my child's confidence".

To be honest, we were a bit surprised by the findings of this survey (conducted by The British Association of Beauty Therapists and Cosmetologists), so we thought the best thing was to ask you all what you think.

Are you surprised by the idea of girls having beauty treatments at such a young age? Or not?

And would you – or have you – taken your daughter for a professional beauty treatment?

Please do let us know by adding a post to this thread. We'd really love to hear your views!
