Opening an online store

My cousin and I are thinking of opening an online store for our book and accessories shop. We already have a physical store but some of our customers are asking if we have an online store so they can purchase online instead.

I'm not sure how the set up is though and whether we should get a payment gateway or Paypal. Anyone here who knows about this? Any tips?

  • Paypal is the best option but if you want to reach more clients you can get a credit card machine. If you have a mobile phone just install an app and attach a card reader to your phone and you're ready to go.

  • do you have a credit card machine in your store? you can hire a merchant services company to help you with that

  • If you have enough budget, you can easily setup one online shop. There are so many platforms you can choose, but you need to pay monthly fees.
