spotting in between periods

hello have any of You ladies bee through this??? I have a 3 month old and am Scared of being pregnant again. I have been on the mini pill for 2 months now and my husband I have been being careful and using a condom as well. we were always careful because I'm not the greatest at taking the mini pill at the same time everyday. I had my last period which was my 2nd one from being pregnant on sept 24-26 was very light and short. On oct 5 my husband and I had unprotected sex then yesterday I had some light spotting. I know it's to early for tests or anything and I have no signs of pregnancy. What do you ladies think?
