What car seat for a small 10 year old for my car with sporty bucket seats?

Hi, My son is 10 and still only 128cm in height, he is insistent he won't sit in a car seat which is really frustrating.  However, I also own a sporty mini and the seats are bucket like so its hard to find a seat that's suitable and cool.  Any ideas?
