FEELING STUCK IN THE HOUSE?

Is it me or has any stay at home mom feels pressured just being at home with your kid/s?
I am a mom of 1 girl. She's 19 months old. I was in the "due in November 2019 batch" This girl is a blessing. Anyhow I find it difficult trying to balance my time. What I do is try to take her to the park for a hour most days, but some days I feel pressured to do household chores and so that alone takes time away from her. The thing is, I have to be her play pal all day long and I love it. She doesn't have any kids to play with so she clings to me which is fine. Being at home you have to be working nonstop. The reason why I say nonstop is because I live with my mother-in-law. When my husband and her goes to work I'm left with the house to clean. It's draining honestly.

  • In these last months I feel trapped in my home and it is because I no longer know where to go or where to go out and I feel that everything outside bores me.

Hey! Babe I study your routine and that was pretty awesome to know that you work along with day. ;) Babe you said well Daughter is blessing I like it. I just want to say that If you think about to keep a helper with you which might help you in covering your work of daily routine. You will feel relax with that routine and might find the time for yourself to think about your self your partner and to manage your house more peacefully
Take care of you and yours. Wish you all the best!
    Cheers! :)
  • Hey seen your post and totally understand i have a 3 year old girl and a 19 month old aswell i usually do house work while the my girls are eating( breakfast and lunch) and give them fun activities to do such as drawing they love it and sometimes they want to help clean too!
Then i can spend the rest of the time with them and alone time when its nap/bedtime.
Self care is so important too you should always take time to care for your self shower ect.
  • Hey @NoraPark! I feel ya! house is hard and outside is even harder. Do something you enjoy dear.
  • Awwww! Thank you @Marytorres876. I'm doing better, but I'm struggling a bit. On the brighter end I'm doing much better. Indeed my baby is a blessing, but sometimes I feel so guilty, because my baby should get my undivided attention instead of spending all my time making a house clean. All the best with you and yours <3
  • @Kayciee Today I've been saying I'm not myself. Self care is definitely important & starting today I'm gonna gather myself honestly.
As for your kids they'll sit and have fun together and I love that for them. For my child she doesn't have anyone to play with while I'm making breakfast/dinner. if I run to the bathroom, she's right behind me even if I leave her to watch TV lol! She needs a sibling I know.
Recently I got her paints etc to do activities. I'm doing better and thank you always dear.
