When my son was 2 he loved to play with a teaset and playfood he would sit for hours setting out a picnic for his cuddly toys and pretending to cook the food in my saucepans.
Some people see playfood and teasets as a bit girly but there's no need to worry my son is now a typical 14 year old into playstation, ipods and football.

My kids love moshi monsters, it's a sort of online game, you adopt a pet monster and nurture it, do quizzes etc, it's quite a good for learning. You can buy all the figures and toys etc online. I just bought my son a slap watch from moshimonstersonline.co.uk
