has anyone been referred to Liverpool Womens?
I haven't actually received my appointment yet  but then it was only a week ago today that my GP said he was referring us (I'm just impatient... I want a baby and I want 1 now) Just wondered what kind of experiences people have had at the Liverpool womens, I have no idea what the appointments/treatments will be like... How long they take... What they will do to us....If I will need time off work...
I guess it's the not knowing that is making me edgy, not being in control.
And what makes it worse is everywhere I look there are pregnant women or women pushing prams

We were first seen in July and had follow up appointment with the consultant in september. As there was nothing wrong with either of us I was put on clomid for 3 months and was told we'd start ivf immediately after if nothing had happened. I fell pregnant after 2nd cycle and went back today for my 20 week scan.
Walking past all the heavily pregnant smoker pisses me off as much as it ever did and I actually want to slap the selfish cows!x
hubby has had an sa already will they do another? I've also had a 21 day bloods but none of the other tests. You got seen pretty quickly I'm hoping the same happens with me (even tho I'm nhs and there is probably a huge waiting list)
Congrats on the baby did you find out if it's a boy or girl? A guy in work found out last week that his gf is having a girl,he then asked me when I'm having kids your not getting any younger.... cheers for that like I hadn't noticed that 30 is fast approaching!
I'm totally with you on pg women smoking it's just so wrong, and so are people that moan about their kids taking over their lives (why have them then)
Just googled it now and they'll re-assess the decision in July, sincerely hope we don't need it, but after 8 months, I'm no longer holding my breath!
Good luck with your appt WW, have heard good things about the Womens, I work at the Royal round the corner.
We were trying for 16 months in total but I had an ectopic on 2nd month of trying and then had to wait 3 months to try again. From trying again to falling was 10 months with a bit of help from clomid.
Bloody David Cameron will be cutting all NHS ivf in time i'm sure. He classes it in teh same catagory as having an unwanted tattoe removed and hair replacement therapy on teh NHS. How very easy when his wife seems to keep popping babies out x
