AFM - did pessery this morning and then about an hour later I went to toilet and had a bit of brown or shall i say yellow/biscuit colour discharge, which was slightly bitty. It seems to have stopped now. It's a bit late to be implantation! I will speak to clinic first thing in the morning. On the plus side my test the Mornjng was still positive! Phew!

I'm sure it's just old blood and it's nothing to worry about but the clinic will put your mind to rest tomorrow. I remember being scared everytime I went to the toilet in case I saw something I didn't like!! lol Let me know what the clinic says. x

Well ladies I tested this morning 11dpiui... And got a bfn! I'm actually still feeling positve though... As I know it's early still and many people dont get there BFP with IUI until cd13/14. I've had some more cramps today and lots of creamy CM, i actually thought AF had arrived at one point today as i felt so "wet" lol, my boobs aren't as sore as they were, but they are still tender and full.. I've also been feeling very squemish today..
Here's hoping... I'm not going to test until Thursday or Friday now for sure. xx

Tigerlilley - that's what I thought. I didn't tell my husband until tonight as he had an all day meeting and knew he would worry. As soon as he came home he wanted me to phone the clinic. I manage to talk him out of it and said I would do it in the morning. There is nothing they can do either way.
Cupcakes - I have been reading forum's on fertility friends and one women tested the day before their date and it was a bfn the day after was bfp. It's still early days. Ive had alot of creamy CM too last week, I had to invest in thicker panty liner!
As its brown/yellowy it defo sounds like old... Which sounds ok eh? I'm sure it's all fine Hun... But it wouldn't be natural not to worry eh.

Just a little update from me... I think AF is just around the corner(on 12dpiui, mega early for me). I went to the toilet earlier and there was some brown when wiped... Tmi!! Lol I certainly don't have the usual AF type cramps and haven't done so yet.... Oh well... Looks like I could be calling the clinic tomorrow to arrange the next cycle. Xx

Sorry not managed to get on here sooner, had a friend around for dinner. She is 12 weeks pregnant so had loads to ask her, then my mother in law phoned for an update.
Cupcakes - brown is fine, it's old blood. When I spoke with the clinic this morning she said it was normally as I had this Sunday and Tuesday. Positive thoughts. Xx
I owned up and told clinic I had been naughty and tested early, she said she was surprised it showed up on Sunday. I'm now waiting for the specialist over here to get a scan date, his secretary was away but Freya centre said I need to be scanned after 3 October, I'm hoping to get in Thursday or Friday as my patents and sister all go on holiday to Thailand for 2 weeks, we're not going because no holidays after the ivf. It my dad's 60th and sister's 30th on the same day! Will be very sad they have gone without me but worth not going!!!!!
Chick80,just wanted to say congratulations on your pregnancy, I had ivf/icsi and also tested 9 days post putting my egg back, i was testing constantly after my shot wore out to see when it was negative so i would know when it was positive! on that day 9 and it being positive i nearly wet myself i was so happy!i too told my clinic that i was testing early and the nurse said it is a sign of a strong pregnancy and lots of woman test early!,my only symptom was cramping, which can happen up until 20 weeks which is normal because of the impact of the drugs on your ovaries! bleeding is also 'normal', please dont worry,look forward to your 7 week scan and seeing a heartbeat! i had an earlier scan at 5 weeks and 5 days because i was bleeding at the hospital i work at and saw a heartbeat then!i am now 24 weeks and 1 day with a little boy and continue to bleed throughout which is normal because of my cervix, just enjoy! i am always come on the fertility treatment forums because those couples deserve a baby more than anyone,all the best, george

I now have my scan booked for the 4th October. Had to go to see my GP today. I was there about 40 minutes! I have had quite brown discharge today so hopefully this is nearly the end of it all. I had to do a urine sample and she said there was protein and blood in the sample (whether old blood counts) I then had to drive it to the pathology lab. I have a few blood test tommorow and then I think that's it till 7 weeks! She was a very nice doctor, she is 33 weeks pregnant and gave me a number to call for some classes that start around 20 weeks. That seems so long away!

Bad news today, I took pregnancy test this morning and it was negative!!
My normal period was due on Wednesday and as you know had quite alot of discharge which contined all this week. I did not have a very good feeling about it all last night so sent hubby to get test this morning. Next step is to go and have a blood test to get it confirmed.
I am so sorry, the same thing happened to me too so I know exactly how you must be feeling right now. One minute you are feeling on top of the world and the next you feel totally lost. I'm sending you a huge hug, if you ever need to chat then I'm here for you. xxx
Thanks Tigerlillry. Feeling a lot better about it all now. I had blood test yesterday which confirmed it. I spoke to clinic this morning and have a follow up call next week. Apparently I can start a fresh cycle in November, which is good news as I thought I had to wait 2 cycles which would be right around Xmas day so then would have to wait till January! I also need to ask about my ovaries as one did not produce anything and whether I need to have further investigation.
I'm glad your feeling better and you don't have to wait to long to start again. Was it a chemical pregnancy? It would be good to know why your ovary didn't do anything. Hopefully they can do something about it so you produce more eggs for next time!

Husband took me for dinner last night arranged taxi's and everything. He is going away tommorow for a week for work. He also sent me flowers to work and presented me with a voucher for facial and massage next weekend. He is now back in my good books!
We had a bit of a debate Wednesday regarding starting next cycle. He spent wed and Thursday night in spare room! He wants to wait till January to give us time to prepare emotionally, physically and financially. I want to do next cycle in nov even though I have no holidays, I suggested unpaid leave as he can take the time no problem. He said that as we have guests all summer he is behind with work and if I take unpaid makes the whole process more expensive and he is under loads of pressure. So going to try and make it work for dec if possible. My office closes between Xmas and new year, so hopefully the dates will work perfect at moment it's working that EC would be Xmas day so hopefully AF will be late this month and push everything back a few days!

A chemical pregnancy is where the embryo implants and your body produces the pregnancy hormone (giving you a bfp) but the embryo doesn't grow. I got as far as 7 weeks before I had some brown stuff and when I went for my scan there was nothing to see. It sounds like you had the same but I could be totally wrong!
Having IVF is a really hard thing to go through, I always felt like it was me that was going through it all and my poor hubby didn't have anything to worry about but now I have realised that it's just as hard for him. I guess your hubby is thinking about things sensibly when we have such a strong urge to become mums that being sensible is the last thing on our minds!! I'm not sure if this will help you or not but you can be signed off work by your gp. I was in March and they don't have to put that your having any fertility treatment on the sick note. That doesn't help with the money side of things but us girls have to stick together!!! lol I'm glad you have made up now, I think the massage and facial is a lovely treat I hope you enjoy it!
My hubby was great this morning and even though he was dreading doing it and I have to say I was scared to have it done, I didn't feel it at all!!!! The thought of doing it was defo worse then having it done!!! I have to have a blood test on Monday to see if they are working (My test is my boobs, if they hurt then I know it's working, it's been 3 hours and so far nothing!!! he he) and if the transfer is going ahead then I can do my last one on Thursday and go back on the pesseries. I have to say that I think I perfer the injections as there is far less mess!! lol

Ahh thank you for the positivity lol...
The needle at the bottom is my normal one and the top one is my butt jab needle!!! My hubby hates needles so its going to be interesting!! lol

Bad news today, I took pregnancy test this morning and it was negative!!
