Nearly 40 waiting for NHS funding

Hi just wanted to see if anyone is in the same boat. I was referred by my doc about 18 months ago after ttc for 2 yrs (1 previous miscarriage in a previous relationship) and was sent for testing at guys in London. Was told all was normal with both me and oh so would have to go down the ivf route but had to get my bmi down to below 30 (3 stone to lose) I finally did it end of last year and could apply for funding. Now I have to wait for funding & with all the covid delays Andy the fact  I turn 40 in two months so getting really worried. Any advice?

I was TTC for two years (I'm 39 yo). Since I decided to have IVF, I started to search for clinics abroad, which are more affordable. I wanted to avoid all the hassle in NHS, the waiting, and all the stress that I'm running out of time.
So my advice is to consider travelling abroad.
In any case, I'm wishing you the best of luck!!  :)
