Little bit of advice needed
Hi,
I'm starting my nasel sprays this Saturday for our first attempt at IVF, and I'm after a bit of advice. I know its early days but I like to be organised. Does anyone know if its better to do the injections in the morning or at night? And wheres the best place to do them? Legs or stomach?
I've also bought some sweets to try and counter balance the horrible taste I'm expecting from the nasels, hopefully that'll work lol.
If anyones got anything else they think I could be doing please let me know. Within reason I'll try anything.
Thank you
Emma xx

I didn't find the taste very nice, but after a couple of days it didn't bother me at all. The only other advice I could give would be to relax as much as you can, distract yourself, and dont stress about the treatment or outcome. I had acupuncture, and it was fantastic, I really do believe it helped towards my BFP. Also, my hubby gave me a little neck rub every night before I went to sleep. This was good for getting a good nights sleep, relaxation and keeping us close during a stressful time.
If you have any other questions, fire away (knowledge is power) xxx
I have been thinking of getting the protein shakes as I'd read on here they were supposed to help thicken the lining of the womb. But I asked at the hospital and she'd never heard of it, have you guys heard of this? I'm a little concerned that it'll make me put weight on though, although worth it if it works.
My hubbys mum will be doing my injections so I think it'd be easier to do it in the evenings, although I like the idea of having it out of the way.
Thanks for the advice girls, its priceless. xxx

Great questions, I am also starting my injections for first round of IVF on Sunday week (29th August) and will be doing them at 8am, 3pm and 10pm. Not sure what time we will be doing injections, will find out on scan 13th September.
Good luck and keep us posted with side effects etc.

I think were pretty much on the same time scale. I'm starting the nasels on Sat then have the scan to see if its worked on the 13th Sept. I think I seen on another thread that you might be having EC on the 27th Sept which is the same as me.
We'll have to keep each other updated.
Lori, your prob right about the protein shakes I hadnt though of it that way. I'll start checking out protein rich meals :0) xx
Yes, if all goes to plan 24th or 27th Sept for EC.
Where are you having treatment?
Will be good to have someone to share experiences with.
Sarah
