question for a friend

she has been diagnosed with intercrainium hypertention which is high pressure surrounding the brain, and has been told that the baby may need to be brought on early (12 weeks early) to avoid surgery whilst pregnant, one operation carried out at 17 weeks pregnant but was unsuccessful. Was woundering if anyone who is in a similar situation or been brought on 12 weeks early could give any advice or help with how baby has progressed, how early they where home, and what happened with baby etc....

  • Hello. I dont have any useful advice but lots of babies born 12 weeks early are fine. How many weeks is she now?
