Did you tear during your Vbac?
I had an emergency c section with my LO almost 2 years ago because of 'failure to progress' even though I made it to 9cm dilated. When she was born I think the real reason was her weight, 10lb 8! They said she was in an awkward position and could not make her way out on her own.
Anyway, I am pregnant again and starting to think about the birth. I would very much like to try for a vbac, but am absolutely petrified of tearing!! I have so many friends who tore (3rd degree and one way worse) and honestly, my c section recovery was so much quicker and less painful than what they went through, and what some of them are still going through even now!
So, did any of you who have had a successful Vbac, tear? If so, what was your recovery like? If my growth scans show this one to be anywhere near as big as LO, I am leaning towards section...
