first time homebirth advice needed??
hi ladies. im 39+4 with my second. ive planned to have a homebirth but im really nervous about going into labour when no one is here. of course the minute i do i will get hold of people but i need tips how to manage on my own until then especially if it all happens to quickly and pain is unbearable, also baring in mind i have a 2yr old to try deal with whilst all is happening before anyone arrives...im also very nervous about not being able to dealwith the pain throughout the labour as im only allowed gas and air and nothing stronger. need tips and advice as much as possible for th time im alone??? x

Hi Carmen, I know this is late but just joined. I had a home water birth with my first son who is 2.5 years old.
It was the best experience of my life. I am currently pregnant with No 2 and I plan on having the same birth.
Let me know how it went
