bloody show

I am 36 weeks and 3 days, I've Ben having irregular painful contractions, I went to the Dr and they checked me 2 times both times she was check fir awhile she said getting to my cirvex was difficult.. after she told me I'd have some spotting and possibly the gel from the lubricant she used, however when I went to the bath room the front of my underwar had a big pink-red semi clumpy think discharge.. it wasn't normal spotting so idk if it was my bloody show or not.. I was checked at my 35 week check up and that did not happen..
